This is the flagship wine from the family estate. All the fruit is from the Red Mountain Estate. This wine is beautifully complex and balanced as a Bordeaux blend and is a gem. It is long on the palate and is well-rounded.
Shiraz – Two Hands Gnarley Dudes from Tanzer – 2005 - Australia 3oz - $7.00 6oz - $11.00 Bottle - $36.00
Its energetic strawberry and raspberry scents are brightened by fresh mineral and floral qualities on its highly perfumed nose. Finishes suave, sweet and very long.

This Cabernet Franc does not shirk its heritage. Its core, just shy of opaque, gleams with a rich, deep-ruby hue. All of the hallmarks of a well-grown Cabernet Franc show themselves in this wine. It has a fragrance reminiscent of a bramble thicket full of ripe raspberries and blackberries. It flaunts its rich perfume of sweet fruit and dried aromatic herbs. Barboursville grows the most diversified array of Cabernet Franc clones in the region - 4 from Bordeaux, 1 from the Loire - which offers a wine-making palate of matchless permutation and subtlety. This wine is long-finishing and tannically vivid, yet has a remarkably soft palate.

Made from some of the oldest vines in McLaren Vale, the intensity of this Cabernet Sauvignon is quite amazing. Matured in American oak for two years, this wine is dark red in color, and has a subtle black currant nose. The palate is rich, rounded and full of ripe Cabernet fruit. A complex wine with outstanding length, depth and a firm but smooth tannin finish. This wine has the structure and breeding to continue to develop for many years with appropriate cellaring.
Cabernet Sauvignon – Beau Vigne Juliet 2005 – California 3oz - $13.00 6oz - $17.00 Bottle - $58.00
This winery is located on a mountainside high above Stag’s Leap Ridge in Napa. The “Juliet” is made from 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec. This wine’s not strictly a single vineyard selection, though all the Cabernet is selected from the property’s Gabriella Juliet ranch. “The intention is to make a softer wine, drinkable up front,” Ed Snider says. He is quick to give credit to winemaker Dave Phinney who learned his Cab craft at Whitehall Lane and Opus One. Only 470 cases of this wine!

A blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, this is a Super Tuscan with gumption. These grapes were hand harvested in an incredibly promising vintage. This is a round, delicate, earthy experience that should not go undiscovered.

This Primitivo wine is a beautiful deep ruby color, intense, with rich plummy aromas. It is dry, soft and rich with excellent balance, medium body ripe fruit flavors and a long finish with soft tannins.

Rose

Rose – Chateau Grand Cassagne – France 3oz - $5.00 6oz - $8.00 Bottle - $25.00
Château Grande Cassagne is situated on the western edge of the Rhône Valley near the village of St. Gilles. Their vineyards are planted on an ancient riverbed covered with cailloux, or round weathered stones. The Dardé brothers are well known for their exemplary red wines of deep concentration. However, their best-kept secret may be their Rosé. Made from three grapes, this wine exudes red fruits and a strawberry perfume. This Rosé is a blend of 60% Syrah, 35% Grenache, 5% Mourvèdre, and comes from tiny berries of forty-plus year old vines. Fermented a short time on its skins, it retains an electric pink color, soaring aromatics, and fully dry palate.

Port

Traditional here means that this is bottled unfiltered, giving it good aging ability. This port is smooth and velvety in texture, showing signs of maturity. It has many of the complex flavors of a vintage Port.
