White Wines

Sauvignon Blanc Sauvignon Republic 2006 - New Zealand 3oz - $6.00 6oz - $9.00
This vintage’s wine is an interlaced blend of three Wairau Valley vineyard sites and one from the flavor-intense Awatere. The former supplied gooseberry, tropical fruit, celery and fresh-cut herbs while the latter provided green nettles and the support of minerality and crisp acidity.
Sauvignon Blanc – Vision Con Sur 2007 – Chile 3oz - $5.00 6oz - $8.00
Pale yellow in color with hints of green. Aromas of citrus, green apple and herbaceous notes. Citric on the palate, fresh and balanced with a slight mineral finish.
Semillon - Peter Lehman 2005 – Australia 3oz - $6.00 6oz - $9.00
A very elegant and delicate Semillon with persistent lemony lanolin characters on the middle palate. It is tightly structured in its youthful zestiness and finishes with clean crisp, yet soft acidity. This wine is unoaked and totally fruit-driven.
White Wine – Borra Vineyards Fusion White 2005 – California 3oz - $6.00 6oz - $9.00
The classic Rhone varietals of Viognier, Roussanne, and Marsanne fuse together to produce distintive, tantalizing aromas of an amazing honeydew melon with almond and a twist of pineapple. Thick layers of peach pineapple and toasted almonds envelope the mouth, echoing for what seems like minutes before the final tones of oak and anise spice.
White Burgundy – Macon Lugny Les Charmes 2005 – France 3oz - $5.00 6oz - $8.00
A delightful white Burgundy made from a chardonnay grapes grown on the hillside vineyards. This wine has a mineral tone with a smooth mouthwatering finish.
“Crabilis” Vermentino di Sardegna D.O.C. 2004 – Sardegna, Italy 3oz - $6.00 6oz - $9.00
Crabilis lends its name to Pala’s Vermentino, as the most widely planted grape in this 25 hectare vineyard area. After harvest and a gentle pressing, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks where it rests for a few months before bottling. This wine is straw-colored with greenish reflections. Persistent floral and herbaceous aromas with hints of thyme. Medium to full bodied on the palate with good balance and a long finish.
Chardonnay – Trevor Jones Virgin 2006 – Australia 3oz - $6.00 6oz - $9.00
The 2006 Virgin Chardonnay was blended from the fruit of 15 growers and 20 different parcels. As the name may suggest, it receives no oak treatment. Medium straw-colored, it offers an alluring bouquet of white peach, pear, and baked apple. Medium-bodied, with excellent concentration, this wine is mouth- filling, rich and long in the finish. 90 points Parker.
Chardonnay – MacRostie 2006 – California 3oz - $6.00 6oz - $9.00
This wine is a beautiful pale gold offering inviting aromatics reminiscent of baked custard and lemon oil. On the palate this wine reveals balanced layers of apple and tropical fruit, accented by a hint of enticing cinnamon. Its finish is clean, crisp and refreshing.

This wine begins with an exotic bouquet of mango, peach, apricot and subtle smoke. Then surprisingly fresh and taut on the palate, the fruit taking on a citrus quality, with tangy minerality adding lift. This wine finished on a broader note of mango, with a refreshingly bitter kick of anise.

Chβteau du Basty, one of the oldest Domaines in Beaujolais, has been in the same family since 1482. The combination of the granite subsoil and Gamay grapes produced a typical fruit forward Beaujolais wine with a young and spicy nose.
Barbera – Enotria 2002 – California 3oz - $5.00 6oz - $8.00
This wine has a deep purple color with aromas and flavors of juicy blackberries with a hint of red currant. Soft tannins and a great natural acidity produce a wine for immediate enjoyment.

Clear and vibrant, this wine has a beautiful dark color and aromas of mixed berries, earth, smoke, violets, Asian spices and minerals. The grapes for this wine were harvested from the Canterbury and Marlborough vineyards. This wine was fermented in small vats, and aged for six months in French oak barrels. This wine is fruit driven with hints of gamey raspberry tones on the nose, with full red berry characters and soft tannins.

Copertino – Copertino Reserva 2000 – Puglia, Italy 3oz - $6.00 6oz - $9.00
Brick red and dense, Copertino has seductive aromatics of blackberry, spice and Maduro cigar leaf and smoked meats. It is medium bodied and surprisingly complex displaying layers of leather, wild berries, cedar, tar, vanilla and soft spices. It’s long finish lingers with dried cherries and port-like nuances.

Grenache and Mourverdre sourced from the famous Claire Valley in South Australia were artfully blended with the Shiraz from Swan Hill, Victoria in this classic “Rhone Style” red blend. This wine is matured in French oak, additional Grenache was used to keep the style light and lithe, yet complex.
Cabernet Sauvignon – Hayman and Hill Reserve Napa 2004 – California 3oz - $5.00 6oz - $8.00
One hundred percent oak aged for sixteen months in small American and French barrels, this big and rich wine is truly expressive of Napa Cabernet. Rich chocolate with blueberry and raspberry notes, subtle hints of tobacco and leather and the classic dust & berry you find on the nose and palate of most Napa Cabernets.
Cabernet Sauvignon – Excelsor 2005 – South Africa 3oz - $5.00 6oz - $8.00
This wine is blackish plum in color with ripe blackcurrants and plum fruit. The soft ripe tannins balance toasty oak aromas and sweet fruit flavors. This wine has great structure with a soft and clean finish.
Cabernet Sauvignon – Zolo 2004 – Argentina 3oz - $6.00 6oz - $9.00
The Cabernet grapes in this reserve line are carefully selected from our special single vineyard (San Pablo) in the Valley of Uco, at 1.300 meters above sea level. Both harvest and selection of grapes are done by hand, allowing for only the best quality of fruit to be used for the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The aromas are powerful and complex with a concentrated nose of cassis, plum and red fruit. Aged in French (95%) and American (5%) oak barrels of first and second use which gives this wine a certain nuance of vanilla and chocolate.
Carmenere – Terra Andina Reserve 2006 – Chile 3oz - $5.00 6oz - $8.00
This wine is complex and intense, with layers of cherry, blackcurrant, blackberries, plums, bellpepper, licorice, tobacco and cedary oak flavors. This wine is fresh, flavorful with soft tannins.
Valpolicella – Secco Bertani 2003 – Italy 3oz - $6.00 6oz - $9.00
With the classic ripasso process, grape must is left to rest for a few days in spring on freshly drawn lees from Bertani’s Recioto Amarone wine. The wine undergoes an 11-day maceration in vats at a controlled temperature and with programmed remontages. The resulting Ripassa is deep ruby-red in color with a complex nose showing some dried fruit and licorice. Excellent body and texture on the palate with a lingering finish.
